Cardinal Health’s Specialty Solutions group set out to disrupt the oncology space with an innovative solution that improved patient treatment while streamlining community oncology treatment centers’ costs.
We found that launching an innovative Digital solution for a Fortune 500 healthcare company required a more nimble user-centric approach. We created a pilot program that could quickly test and prove the effectiveness of a new solution.
In just nine months, we were able to show that in-clinic, touch screen physician dispensing, Group Practice Optimization, and real-time integration of inventory and admissions could drastically improve patient management. Immediately after the pilot was announced Cardinal’s stock price jumped. The Fuse Innovation Centre at Cardinal, dedicated to reimagining healthcare, was also established as a direct result of the pilot’s success.
